NACC publishes investigation report into Robodebt referrals

The National Anti-Corruption Commission has published its investigation report about the 6 individuals referred by the Royal Commission into the Robodebt Scheme.

The referrals related to specific events during the development, approval and implementation of the Robodebt Scheme in 2015, 2017 and 2018. The Commission’s task was to determine whether the conduct of the 6 individuals amounted to corrupt conduct within the meaning of the National Anti-Corruption Commission Act 2022 (Cth) (NACC Act).

The Commission found that of the 6 individuals engaged in serious corrupt conduct, and that the remaining 4 did not engage in corrupt conduct.
